Unwanted Phone Calls

Have you ever received one of those annoying phone calls claiming to be from Microsoft security, telling you that your computer is infected with viruses and demanding immediate action to fix it or else your account will be terminated? Well, fret no more and simply hang up on them. Let me assure you, Microsoft will never, ever call you regarding viruses on your computer. I repeat, Microsoft will never call you. If you were truly causing trouble for Microsoft, they would simply block your IP address. As a network administrator, I have done this countless times. It is a straightforward, swift, and effective method. There is no need for any special call center or someone dialing you up to deliver this message. Most likely, these calls are purely scams, as reputable companies like Apple and Microsoft do not require you to purchase game cards or any similar items.
